So I'm starting off the New Year in all black. My friends and I are doing Ninety days of black, white, and grey outfits this excludes footwear. So I'm going to have an OOTD everyday of a variety of outfits I can put together with just 3 colors. Maybe this will start something who knows. All I know is I'm blessed with a wonderful group of friends and a life of success. To the New year!

Four Fall Outfits
If you live in New York City then you know that the weather has been fluctuating! Recently it has been on the colder days but there were some days that snuck up on me where I did not have to bundle up to go to the corner store.
Just because it is colder in NYC does not mean you cannot wear these outfits somewhere else. Adjustments to outfits are suggested!
Ladies, it is getting colder..so please put away the leggings as pants thing and put away the crop tops! Unless you are layering like no tomorrow, do not just wear a crop top on its own. Don't want y'all getting sick :)
Lets get into the looks, I have four fall looks since technically it is still fall :)
LOOK NUMBER ONE: Mad for Plaid
This look consist of my basics, my foundations of an outfit. I think everyone should have basic staple pieces in their closet. A pair of black jeans and a white tee goes a long way. This look I just paired it with a plaid shirt and a chunky boot. It is my lazy day comfort outfit.
LOOK NUMBER TWO: Sweater Weather
My love for this sweater is unexplainable. Zara definitely gave me a sweater that I can wear during the colder days. I paired this ribbed sweater with the American Apparel riding pants and it was a match made in heaven. Threw on some chunky boots and bam! perfect outfit for perfect fall weather.
LOOK NUMBER 3: Street Style
I tend to pair graphic tees with jeans and boots because it just gives me this amazing vibe wearing it. Especially layering this outfit with a knit cardigan makes it just as comfortable as my other outfits.

LOOK NUMBER 4: SPORTY BABE
Some days I will feel like throwing on sweats but I cannot get myself to do that. So these leather joggers has the same feel as comfortable sweats but fashionable enough to wear out to school or out with friends. Trainers + Joggers = One happy Joann :D
These are my four fall outfits. I hope you enjoy it!

Christmas Wish list Part 1
I remember as a kid in school they'd tell us to write a list of things we wanted for christmas..some would say video games and others would say toys.
But for as long as I remember I didn't ask for much and when I did get gifts I enjoyed getting makeup and clothes for christmas.
My style has changed immensely - I enjoy playing around with textures and different styles now. So I wanted to show you part 1 of my wish list. It consist of mostly jackets and cardigans and one pair of boots I've been eyeing for a LONG time.

- A jacket from MANGO. I really love the combination of slight leather and the herringbone pattern.
- Also from MANGO. Sadly it is sold out in Black. But I have high hopes that it will come back in time for Christmas. I've been searching for the perfect leather jacket and this baby caught my eye
- As most people know the Isabel Marant collaboration with H&M was released on NOV 14th and this cardigan I wanted is already sold out! I am in love with this fuzzy texture and you can never go wrong with black and white.
- I have been eyeing these boots since this summer..I keep contemplating whether to get it or not. Every time I decide to get it, it's sold out! but my current size 7.5 is available..fingers crossed it will still be there.
- This cardigan looks completely different in store - It does not have this pink hue but online it does. I am loving this sheepskin feel to this cardigan. Something I can throw on for a simple outfit or wear around my house.
- Last but not least this amazing cocoon jacket. The wrap around feel is amazing to play with and also who said a jacket has to be boring?
Well, this is it for my Christmas wish list part 1 - Part 2 should be up at the beginning of December. I hope you guys enjoyed! Let me know what your wish list is like?

My Fall Essentials
The beginning of fall was warm and hot which was unusual - As of lately cooler Fall weather has come to NYC.
Fall is my favorite season! Its the season to layer your summer pieces with warmer pieces. Even an excuse to buy some knits and just stay home with a cup of hot chocolate.
I have more Fall Essentials - but they fall under Basics so I should save that for another time.
These are the 7 Fall essentials in my closet as of lately:
1. Chunky Knit
This chunky knit from Zara has become my favorite piece for this fall. I won't be surprised if I wear this at home and outside.
3. Plaid (Anything)
I'm wearing plaid pants here. But during the fall, plaid is a huge part of my wardrobe especially plaid button downs. On a lazy day I throw on a plaid shirt and black jeans and call it a day.
5. Boyfriend Jeans
I have like 3 pairs of boyfriend jeans because I love that loose fit. I honestly felt so weird wearing normal jeans after the summer was over because I wore boyfriend jeans the whole duration of my summer. Whether it is distressed, dark denim, light wash, etc. Everyone should have a pair of boyfriend fit jeans.

OOTD: Garden of Eden
Well it seems like I can't bid summer goodbye if the weather keeps going from cold to blazing hot again. I'm not complaining but I was looking forward to autumn weather already.
So because of the recent weather I have been confused on what to wear and still be comfortable for a full day of classes.
I decided to wear the ever so famous Zara skort today and dress it down a bit with a white tee, converse, and a plaid shirt.

OOTD: Not so Monday blues -
Usually Mondays are a drag. The feeling of the weekend being too short or your bed glued to you when your alarm rings. I have a bad habit on hitting that snooze button. But I try my best to get ready in a rush and make it to class on time!
My outfit today fits with the sudden weather changes but comfortable for me to wear all day long.
I'm kind of upset I had to lug around a huge jacket because I thought it would be cold..Boy was I wrong. I felt like mixing textures today so I decided to wear these white Zara trousers with a knit sweater and two tone boots.
I know my college campus has many hidden gems and I found the Hall of Fame a place of great lighting and just the calm atmosphere to unwind in.

OOTD: Autumn layers
Today is the second day of fall and it was pretty chilly in New York City. The highest it was today was 66 degrees! The weather has been jumping back from cold to hot which is causing a lot of people to get sick. I'm trying to refrain from getting sick AGAIN!
But I digress...I'm super excited it is fall. Not only because I get to layer summer pieces with warmer fall pieces, it is also my birthday month in october!
So to prevent myself from getting sick from the chilly weather and extremely inconvenient air conditioners in my classes - I had a lot of layers on today.
